For years, the Windy Lake Motel & Restaurant has been a familiar spot to grab a bite to eat, or take a break while you’re on the road. We chatted with Amanda Linton, in our October 2017 issue, who recently took over the business with her husband Oscar.

After living in the Onaping Falls community since 2009, the decision to take over Oscar’s parent’s business felt right. “Oscar has been a successful manager of different establishments over the years and has always wanted to own his own business,” said Amanda.  Amanda says customers can continue to expect the friendly service the motel has always offered and can count on them for support around the community should they need it. “We are a small restaurant with a lot to offer.”

Amanda keep busy by managing the Northern Hillside Inn as well and adores the Onaping Falls area. She says the best part about the community is how ‘tight knit’ it is and how people are always trying to have fun and bring an interest to the community. Amanda and Oscar look forward to serving the community at the Windy Lake Motel & Restaurant and hope to see you soon!
